Directions: From 7 Hwy on the east side of Clinton, south on SE 31 (Cemetery Road, runs between Englewood Cemetery and Truman Lake Mall) approximately 1 3/4 miles to second hard bend to east. Walk west off of bend in road down old lane. Cemetery is off to the south (left) in a grove of large oak trees.
Condition: Unfenced, abandoned and neglected. Many stones are now missing or distroyed.
History: Was located on acerage owned by the Reid family. John M. Reid was born in Madison County, Kentucky and was an early settler of Howard County, Missouri. He married Margaret Wolfskill (dau of Joseph). They moved to Cooper County about 1825, to Saline County about 1830 and then to Henry County about 1832. They had two sons, Alfred and Joseph. Alfred (b: Dec 25 1821) married Nancy Lee (bca: 1824) and Joseph married Jane.
